Finally, a proper username for me!
For the first time in my seven years here, I have a premium membership – we'll see how that goes!

Anyway, how've you all been? Well, I hope!

I started attending a character design course over at CGMA a couple of weeks ago, and it's super exciting and challenging! I have a lot of homework to do, and I'm learning and doing so many new things, so I'm really glad I invested in this. It's a lot of money for me, but I think it's worth it. That is why I've been kind of quiet lately, the class is keeping me super busy, but I'm slowly getting the hang of the increased workload, so I might even have some new things to share soon.

It's all gone. My gallery is empty. I deleted everything but the most recent two uploads. I do not intend to disable my account, though I'm not certain I will continue using it for anything other than keeping up with the wonderful artists I'm following here. We'll see.

In other news — studying graphic design has given me exactly what had I hoped for the most – PRACTICE. Sadly, I don't have the habit of drawing regularly, but school has made me do it more than ever, and I have benefited from it endlessly. I have no more fears of not being good enough (for me, more than anyone else), I now know my potential and my boundaries, and I'm working hard. I can honestly say I am happy with my abilities so far, and ever so hungry for learning more and getting better and better. I also have several projects in mind to keep me working that I'm insanely excited about.

PS. FINAL FANTASY VI FOR THE WIN OH MY GOSH WHAT A FANTASTIC GAME GAH.

This is pretty much just to knock off the previous (dumb-ass) journal entry off my page.

In two weeks I will start my graphic design studies which I am very excited about; pretty much all I ever wanted was to study art, I just never dared. This is a huge game-changer -- all I ever studied were sciences (mostly chemistry). I tried studying English, but even though I love English literature, it's just not what I want to do with my life professionally, so I tried for graphic design, and got accepted. So, in a fortnight I will be back to school (which I haven't done since last December) and hopefully rock it! Very exciting!

Right, well, hullo everyone, and stuff like that.
I take zillions of photos, all the time, it takes my mind off of things. And I need that. So they'll all eventually end up here, when I find the time to edit and upload them. [I'm kinda busy studying, so yeah, it might take a while.] The ones that did find their way here were done a while ago.
In the meantime, this is mainly for ing art all over devArt.
